A Message From President
“You make a Difference and Together, We make it Happen.”
– Adell Batchelor Walker, Chapter President
On behalf of our membership, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our official website. We are a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to serving the needs of African American and those of African descent.
The Beverly Hills West (CA) Chapter is a civic, cultural and educational organization that is one of 59 chapters in the Western Area. For 30+ years, the members have been dedicated to high cultural standards and humanitarian services that will improve the quality of life for all.
Our members learn and grow through training in leadership, organizational development and effectiveness, community needs assessments, strategic planning, communications, advocacy, fundraising and fund development. As a result, we form strategic partnerships, create cutting-edge, innovative programs and projects, volunteer over 5000 community service hours, and raise funds for various local initiatives. Our current community programs (Combating Childhood Obesity, HeartTruth, Mental Health, S.T.O.P Sex Trafficking, and Help Haiti initiatives) to name a few, impact thousands of local women, men and children as well as our friends across the waters.
We invite you to access the various areas of our website to find information; and I hope you enjoy this special place that is the Beverly Hills West (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated!
Adell Batchelor Walker, President
